MAMUZ Schloss Asparn/Zaya

ENTDECKEN, STAUNEN, AUSPROBIEREN – 40.000 Jahre unserer Menschheitsgeschichte sind im MAMUZ Schloss Asparn/Zaya vielfältig erlebbar. Eine interaktive und moderne Gestaltung lässt die Ausstellungen zu einem Erlebnis werden. Originalfunde beeindrucken durch ihre Einzigartigkeit und ihre Geschichten, die sie erzählen. So etwa die Knochenflöte, die bereits vor 20.000 Jahren gespielt wurde. Im Jahr 2018 zeigt das MAMUZ Schloss Asparn/Zaya die Sonderausstellung „Konflikten auf der Spur“. Das archäologische Freigelände zeichnet mit urgeschichtlichen Behausungen Leben und Handwerk der Menschen von der Altsteinzeit bis in die Eisenzeit nach. Erlebnisworkshops wie Bogenschießen oder Brot backen begeistern Jung und Alt und bieten einen aktiven Rahmen.

Das MAMUZ Museum Mistelbach widmet sich 2018 der „Faszination PYRAMIDEN“. Einst wurden die majestätischen Bauwerke errichtet, um den Pharaonen des Alten Ägypten als Grabstätte zu dienen. Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts erreichte eine Welle der Begeisterung Europa, die bis heute andauert und sich in vielen Lebensbereichen widerspiegelt. Doch bis heute werfen die Pyramiden Ägyptens viele Fragen auf: Welche Bedeutung hatten sie? Wie wurden sie errichtet? Was verbindet Pyramiden und Obelisken? Und: Was haben die Pyramiden mit dem Weinviertel und dem Rest der Welt zu tun? Das MAMUZ Museum Mistelbach zeigt dazu eine umfassende, interaktive und beeindruckende Ausstellung. Discover, be amazed, try it out! 40.000 years of human development are now being presented in a more comprehensive and more mordern way at MAMUZ Schloss Asparn/Zaya and MAMUZ Museum Mistelbach. In the castle Schloss Asparn/Zaya the full extent of prehistory and ancient history can be seen with original items. They impress with their uniqueness and their stories which they tell. For example the bone flute which was already played 20,000 years ago. In 2018, there is the special exhibition „On the tracks of conflicts“ at MAMUZ Schloss Asparn/Zaya.The archaeological open air museum with historical residential, farming and trade buildings trace the life and crafts of the people from the paleolithic to the iron age. Experiencing workshops such as archery or bread baking inspire young and old and offer an active framework.

The exhibition „Fascinating PYRAMIDS“ in 2018 in MAMUZ Museum Mistelbach shows the pyramids in Ancient Egypt – they have not lost any fascination since their origin 4600 years ago. At the end of the 18th century enthusiasm of pyramids began. It continues to this day and is reflected in many spectra of life. Many questions are bring up by the pyramids.
